Padas River Rafting Day Trip

Morning pick up from Kota Kinabalu city hotel to Beaufort town (drive will take about 1 1/2 hours) to board a train to the starting point.After light refreshment the excitement commences soon after a briefing on safety and rafting techniques. You will be equipped with safety helmets and life vests for the adrenaline pumping ride through Sabah's Wildest Rapids of the "Padas", the Malaysian way of saying "Hot". Opportunities to see local villages and ride on Borneo's ancient railway passing the Padas Gorge.

Lunch by the Padas riverside. Short rest then board train and by road back to Kota Kinabalu.

Tour includes :

1)    Transportation.
2)    English speaking guide.
3)    River guide ( if applicable )
4)    1 lunch.
5)    Use of life jacket, helmet & rafting equipment.

Duration :    Full day trip.
River Grade :    3 to 4.

Suggested things to bring :    Light & extra clothing, short pants, towel, slippers, personal toiletries, sunblock, waterproof camera (optional) & raincoat.

NOTE :

1)    Participants must be physically fit.
2)    Jewellery & contact lenses are not advisable.
3)    The company reserves the right to change or cancel tour should conditions beyond the company's control render it necessary.
4)    River rafting is subject to the water level and weather condition. If Padas rafting is not possible, Kiulu rafting may be substituted. However, if rafting is not possible to be conducted at all, an alternative tour may be suggested.
