Day 1                             Sandakan / Sepilok / Sukau (Lunch/Dinner)

Early morning, meet at hotel in Sandakan or pick up from Sandakan airport & proceed to the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. At prescribed time, witness the feeding of the young Orang Utans. Walk along the nature trail & enjoy the realms of the tropical lowland jungle. Perhaps visit the nature education centre to view the displays & exhibits.

Lunch & continue journey to the village of Sukau. Journey will take about 2 hrs 30 min passing by oil palm plantation & villages. On arrival, check in at lodge. In the evening, cruise along the Kinabatangan River, the longest river in Sabah, in search of the Proboscis monkeys & other wildlife. Return to the lodge in the evening. Dinner & overnight at the lodge.

Day 2             Sukau / OX-BowLake / Sukau / Gomantong / Sukau (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Early in the morning proceed to Ox-bow lake to observe wildlife & experience the early morning river ambience of the Kinabatangan River. Return to the lodge for breakfast & depart for the village of Sukau to observe the local village scene.

After lunch, proceed to Gomantong caves to explore one of the fascinating caves in Sabah. The caves are home to the bats & swiftlets. At these caves, nests of the swiftlets are collected for the famous Chinese delicacy, the bird's nest soup. Return to the lodge in the evening. Dinner & overnight at the lodge. 

Day 3                             Sukau / Sandakan (Breakfast/Lunch)

After breakfast, depart for Sandakan town. On arrival, proceed with visit to the Chinese Buddhist temple, Transfer to the airport to board flight or transfer or back to hotel in Sandakan.

Note : 1)    The jungle or river lodge is simple accommodation (twin/triple share) with wash room facility.

Suggested things to bring :    Light clothing, long pants, trekking shoes, raincoat, personal toiletries, towel, light jacket, insect repellent & torch.
