Day 1                             Sandakan / Selingan Island (Lunch/Dinner)

Meet at Sandakan airport or pick up at hotel in Sandakan. Transfer to jetty for boat ride to Selingan island. The journey to island takes approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. On arrival, register at the Turle island parks HQ and check into chalet. After lunch at Cafeteria, free at own leisure, Eg. Swimming or snorkeling. After dinner, wait for the rangers' call to observe turtle laying eggs. Overnight at Chalet.

Day 2               Selingan Island / Sepilok / Sukau (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Early morning breakfast, depart for Sandakan. After breakfast, drive for approximately 30 minutes to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation center. Proceed to the free roaming area of feeding platform. Feeding of Orang Utan at about 1000hrs. At this center, observe man's closest relative "the Orang Utan" being rehabilitate to become wild in their natural habitat, and experience a walk in the Tropical Lowland Dipterocarp Forest of Borneo. Depart Sepilok and transfer to jetty in Sandakan. Take an hour's boat cruise up to the Lower Kinabatangan River Sanctuary where you will take your lunch at Abai Jungle Lounge. This is a wonderful journey of discovery which starts from the waters of Sulu Sea of Sandakan town through a magnificent scenery of the Mangrove Forest. After lunch, cruise up river to Sukau village in search of primates expecially the Endemic Proboscis Monkeys, birds and other wildlife. Arrive Sukau, check in at lodge. Late afternoon, an option to take another river cruise to Menanggul River, a small tributary of the Kinabatangan. Return lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3    Sukau / Sandakan (Breakfast/Lunch)

After breakfast, cruise down by boat back to Sandakan. Upon arrival at jetty, drive uphill to Puh Jih Syh Chinese Buddhist Temple for a panoramic view of Sandakan City. Lunch, and then proceed to airport or back to hotel in Sandakan.

Note : 1)    Both the Turtle Island lodge at Sukau are simple accommodation ( share basis ). For Selingan tour, room with private wash room (Cold water shower) facility are subject to availability.

           2)    Sabah Parks allow only camera of unaided flash to take photograph of turtles. Video/Digital Video camera are NOT ALLOWED.

           3)    Visitors are not permitted to walk around the island on their own between 6:00pm to 6:00am.

Suggested things to bring :    Light clothing, short & long pants, sandal, swimming attire, comfortable shoes, raincoat, personal toiletries, towel, light jacket, insect repellent & torch.
