DAY 1        SANDAKAN/SEPILOK/SUKAU (Lunch/Dinner)

At about 0810hr, pick up from hotel in Sandakan or meet at the Sandakan airport.  Proceed to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. Trek ten minutes through the rainforest on wooden plank walks to witness the feeding of the orang utans at 10am. After that, continue to Sandakan jetty for an estimated 2.5 hours boat journey to the Lodge along Sabah longest river, Kinabatangan with opportunity to view birds and wildlifes in virgin mangrove, wetland and rainforest habitats. Enroute, lunch at Abai Jungle Lounge. Late afternoon take a river cruise in search of some of the 10 primate species including Proboscis monkeys as they settle down on treetops along the Kinabatangan River. Return for hot shower; dinner and overnight at Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge.

DAY 2        SUKAU/SANDAKAN (Breakfast/Lunch)

After breakfast, cruise down by boat back to Sandakan. Upon arrival at jetty, visit to the central market and then proceed to Airport or back to Hotel in Sandakan

NOTE:  The river lodge is simple accommodation (twin/triple share) with wash room facility.
