City Tour & Sabah Cultural Experience

Pick up from hotel and proceed for about 30 minutes car ride to the village. Upon arrival, as you assemble you will be briefed on the Village Rules, The Dos and The Dons. As you enter through the suspension bridge, you wil be fascinated with the sight of a river flowing. Visit each tribefs traditional house and do some in house activities and stopover at demo huts. Each home was built by descendants of the tribes they represent and offer you a truly genuine experience seeing everything in and around the village lends to its magical prowess of taking you back in time. Not only does this village portray these tribes (5 tribes) through the architectural genius of their traditional houses, but also through a range of simulated lives of the olden epoch by the residents of the village. Acquaint yourself with each tribe as they let you come into their house and their simple yet intricate lives. As you traverse the village, you will find demonstration huts along the main houses in which daily activities of old times come into life with the making of blowpipe, starting a fire (from bamboo) and tattoo-making (and its symbolisms).  

After the performance, you will be led to the Dining Hall. You may leisure around for about 15 minutes to shop, take photos or just relax and enjoy the natural surrounding. Enjoy traditional and fusion cuisines before the end of the tour.

Time to bid a primordial farewell to the village. Afternoon proceed for city tour of Kota Kinabalu with visit to the Tanjung Aru Beach, the state Mosque and the Sabah Museum. A brief stop at Poh Toh Sze (Chinese Temple) and the unique round building with no pillarsf Sabah Foundation building.

After completing tour, transfer back to Kota Kinabalu city hotel.
